Mr. S. Hari Hara Kumar

S. Hari Hara Kumar has 22 years experience of training in sign language and teaching English courses for the Deaf. His work experiences included in Train the Trainer, designing the curriculum, corporate sign language orientation.

He shaped as an architect for 12 years. He also was the Senior Demonstrator at the National Academy of Construction for 6 months and Indian Sign Language trainer at National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped (NIHH) for 2 years, then he went as an Instructor for Architecture & English at the Deaf Way Foundation for 5 years.

He was the National Champion player in Table Tennis for the Deaf for three years: 1987, 1989 and 1991 in the Sub-Junior and Junior Boys’ categories and received medals in Volley Ball and Painting contest.

He has received the Achiever’s Award from the Governor Shri. Rangarajan for excellence as an architect. He was also awarded the Helen Keller’s Award for Teacher’s in the year 2002.
